The thirty-first annual meeting of the Pacific Northwest Regional Economic Conference
will be held at the Red Lion Hotel Spokane City Center, Spokane, Washington, April 24-26,
1997. First held in 1966, PNREC was established to stimulate research, education
and dialogue on the regional economy. The general theme of this conference is
Regions in Transition, and will feature presentations, panels and papers on a wide
variety of related topics.

Conference Registration
You may register either by regular mail or you may submit your registration on-line.
We strongly encourage you to register early. If you register by April 4, 1997, the conference
fee is $150. The fee for registering late (after April 4, 1997) is $180. For students the early
registration fee is $85 and the late fee is $100.

to the address shown on the bottom of the form along with your check or credit card information.
- On-line Registration - This method is available for credit card registrations
only. Simply complete the registration form on the screen and when you are
finished press the submit button.

Travel and Lodging Arrangements
We have arranged for special discount airfares with Horizon Airlines. (These rates
are valid for the period of April 22-28, 1997.) When making your reservations, please
