Paper and Panel Submissions are Invited

The 2012 PNREC will be held at the Westin Seattle on May 17-18 2012. The conference theme is “The New Northwest Economy: Leaner, Meaner, and Greener?” and the co-chairs for PNREC 2012 are Bill Beyers and Lorrie Brown.
You are invited to submit a paper or propose a panel for presentation at the conference. Potential panel topics include:
• Industry Trends in the Northwest economy: Which are recovering? Which are Not? Why?
• What is the Impact of Declining Education Funding on the Northwest Economy?
• What is the Problem with State Budgets, Revenues or Expenditures?
• Evolution of the Regional Airline Market
• Transportation: Balancing Increasing Needs with Decreasing Revenues
• Climate Change and the Northwest Economy
• Energy Supply and Policy
• The Housing Market, Financial Markets, and Economic Recovery
• Other topics as proposed by conference participants.
