The thirty-second annual meeting of the Pacific Northwest Regional Economic Conference was held at the Holiday Inn Select, Olympia, Washington, May 7-9, 1998. First held in 1966, PNREC was established to stimulate research, education and dialogue on the regional economy. The general theme of this conference is Conflict and Collaboration: how Government, Business, and Academia shape the Pacific Northwest Economy, and will feature presentations, panels and papers on a wide variety of related topics.
